This past Friday I had the privilege of visiting one of the hospitals in Kiev with Marianna Peipon. Once a week Marianna spends time loving the children who are in the AIDS/HIV part of the hospital. One little girl was dropped off at the hospital 3 days prior to our visit. She and her mother had been living in the forest. When we asked the nurse how old she was, she said that the mother didn’t know when “N” was born. Their guess – somewhere between three and five months old. Right now she is undergoing tests to determine whether or not she is HIV positive. “V” (photo) is ten months old. Her family left her at the hospital months ago and has now “disappeared”. This bright-eyed little girl is HIV positive. What does the future hold for her? What does the future hold for any of these children? Please pray for them and for those who work with these children.

God Loves the Little Children!

What fun to have you here with us! And I so appreciate that you went to the hospital with me...and then also fell in love with these little ones. Today there was a third child: one month old.
